|Two stools, visually inspired by a midwife´s stethoscope and the stamen of a flower. A functional as well as a visional pleasure! A break from everything serious and mercantile.
ROCKABLE was invented during a competition in 1999, entitled "Planken ud (Walk the Plank). A plank was transformed to a stool, now produced by Werner in Funen. 37 staves, each equipped with a turned knob, are driven into a circular foot, thus creating a convex seat for a 43 cm high stool that slightly rocks.
UN ROCKABLE is based on ROCKABLE and also designed in 1999. 35 staves, each equipped with a turned knob, are driven into a rectangular foot, thus creating a concave seat for a 43 cm high "unrockable stool.
