My photographic work explores psychological themes such as intimacy, distance in interpersonal relationships, and the multifaceted expressions of fear. I am interested in how social and emotional tensions become visible, how closeness is formed — and where it breaks down. Sensitivity plays a central role: both as an attitude in engaging with others and as a means to express inner states outwardly. In my long-term projects, I seek an open, dialogical exchange with the people I photograph. I work slowly, attentively, and on equal footing. My photographic approach is characterized by an interest in the fragile, the ambiguous, and the unspoken. I see photography as a way to make emotional realities visible — images as quiet spaces of resonance for what often finds no place.
